ICC Women’s World Cup 2025: India-Sri Lanka to host
Eight teams will battle for glory in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 across India and Sri Lanka, with India eyeing their maiden title at home.
The stage is set for one of the most anticipated cricketing events of the year – ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The tournament begins on September 30, 2025, with India taking on Sri Lanka in Guwahati, and concludes with the grand final on November 2, 2025.
Why India and Sri Lanka both are hosting?
India was announced as the official host earlier this year, but Sri Lanka will host matches involving Pakistan under an ICC-brokered agreement. The move comes amid ongoing political tensions, ensuring both nations can compete without bilateral complications.
